When a nation determines to move the ancient boundaries of morality and self-control it will reap amoral and hedonistic behavior among all strata of its society.The AP story goes on to document debauched and depraved interaction between those in authority and those who've placed themselves within the reach of that authority.More than 100 young women who expressed interest in joining the military in the past year were preyed upon sexually by their recruiters. Women were raped on recruiting office couches, assaulted in government cars and groped en route to entrance exams.
Considering this military embarrassment, I'm reminded of the recent Air Force Academy and Abu Ghraib sexual fiascos.
It was man's "lust of the eyes and the lust of the flesh and the boastful pride of life" [1 John 2:16] which brought about our fall in the first place ... if the discipline of our military is this low we're in deep doo-doo!
