CRIB NOTE: Been away!

Family, work and the holidays took me away from blogging for awhile. I'm also over at Twitter evaluating its effect on my blogging. Plus I need to evaluate my overall blogging goals - especially at Cristophobia Watch.

Give me a few days and I'll be back ... maybe differently but I'll be back.

TOTALITARIANISM: Blog censors coming to America, soon!

Today we're warned that blog censors will soon be scouring British Internet sites for offending content. [Telegraph.co.uk; HT: Iain Dale's Diary]
Internet users will be protected from abusive bloggers and malicious Facebook postings under proposals to set up an independent internet watchdog, The Daily Telegraph has learnt.

The body, made up of industry representatives, would be responsible for drawing up guidelines that social networking sites, the blogosphere, website owners and search engines would be expected to follow.
Since the American intelligentsia seem to be in charge of our asylum nowadays, and since they also seem to be animated by European social and political views, we can only assume this kind of thing will arrive on our shores very soon ... if it hasn't already.

The comments section of Iain Dale's blog offers a taste of bloggers' opinion ... including mine.

WAYFARER: A journey for those who have the time!

CRIB NOTE: It's Been a Long Time ... Let's Try This Again!

It's been since 8 December 2006 that I last posted; that concerned The Great Koran Swearing-in Debacle, when more than half of American voters revealed their complete ignorance of the meaning and importance of American traditions and values.

Oh well! I can change myself but not others.

So, here I am back in my bully pulpit for a tentative and limited engagement; family and calling come first, right after the Lord Jesus Christ.

My former readers will find a new emphasis I hope ... a kinder, gentler and more focused CRIB, so to speak.
