History - 101

They say (whoever "they" are), "those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it." Over and over, history has shown this maxim to be true.

Introducing revisionist histories and down-sizing historical content in our public schools, while demeaning history as a worthy subject area in our colleges and universities, have created a string of generations who're embarrassingly ignorant of their roots, let alone of their role as root stock for future generations.

Another truism says, "the proof is in the pudding." So, what are the puddings of these recent generations proving? If the behavior of the ACLU and the political correctness crowd are part of the recipe they're proving they're historically spoiled and rotten, that's what they're proving! Historical ignorance and revisionism are killing our culture.
