At issue today are the implications of the Obama campaign's legal actions to stifle free speech.

ISLAM: And the Last Days!
It is just my opinion, but two things seem certain to me as we enter the leading edge of the one and only Last Days: first, there will be a worldwide war with Islam (and, if I am correct about the last days, Islam will gain the appearance of victory) and, second, signs of these last days will increase geometrically in the years ahead.
For the average man to keep track of current indicators is impossible; it must boggle the mind of even those trained in such a discipline.
Consider just one report from this morning's news ...The war against free speech is advancing rapidly: Associated Press reported Thursday that “Muslim countries have won a battle to prevent Islam from being criticised during debates by the UN Human Rights Council.” Council President Doru-Romulus Costea explained that religious issues can be “very complex, very sensitive and very intense…This council is not prepared to discuss religious matters in depth, consequently we should not do it.” Henceforth only religious scholars would be permitted to broach them.The UN's tentacles are everywhere present in this era; we've been warned for decades about the danger.
Presently, radical Islam (phooey - Islam herself) is being everywhere capitulated to; and, what with EU (see Sarkozy's divided Israel) & UN lackeys fawning all over each other, she stands in a unique position to thwart the cause of Christ and the Jews in the West like never before.
Because the War on Terror is being managed (sic) by women and sissies, Western Civilization has inadvertently given Islam an international soapbox of which Hussein, Qaddafi, the Ayatollahs, and the Taliban only dreamed.
Who would have thought a few decades ago Islam and the international community would have the leverage to bring back the Roman Church's doctrine of "only religious scholars would be permitted to [discuss religious issues]"? This is the Dark Ages again.

INDECENCY: When the Bride Fails
Today's appellate ruling reveals the failure of the Body of Christ. Follow my logic ...WaPo succinctly describes the decision ...
- Public indecency is a secular issue.
- A citizen's freedom of speech, as we know it, is a political issue.
- Both indecency and free speech fluctuate at the whim of the people.
- Christians have freedom of speech and behavior [1 Corinthians 10:23] but moderate their speech [Ephesians 4:29] and actions [Romans 8:13] in obedience to God [Romans 12:1-2].
- As Bob Carlise says in his powerful gospel song We Are the People, "We are the people, and the way we make a change is only by the way we live our lives; we are the people of the Light!"
- If the public degenerates to the point of embarrassment, it's not the fault of sinners ... YOU CAN'T MAKE PIGS ACT LIKE SHEEP ...
- It's the fault of the Bride of Christ; we are chartered with the responsibility to impact the general public "by the way we live our lives" [Matthew 5:13-14].
- It's also prophetic of the approach of the last days [Romans 1:27; 2 Peter 3:3; Jude 1:18].
- The finger of blame points directly at an apostate Church.
The reason for this decision is the people's moral demise; in God's administration of things [Romans 13:1-5] it falls to His people to keep a nation and her people in line by being salt and light.A federal appeals court tossed out an indecency ruling against Rupert Murdoch's Fox television network yesterday and broadly questioned whether the Federal Communications Commission has the right to police the airwaves for offensive language.
In a 2 to 1 decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit in New York ruled that the FCC went too far in issuing a 2006 decision against Fox Broadcasting for separate incidents in 2002 and 2003 after singer Cher and celebrity Nicole Richie each uttered an expletive on live television.
