As the father of six and the soon-to-be grandfather of five I cannot imagine what it must be like for the Schindler family.
One of our grandchildren has CDLS (Cornelia de Lange Syndrome), a developmental syndrome that affects growth and development. I recall those days when our son told us of the problem. The first fifteen days seemed to go on forever as I remember it. I can't imagine fifteen years.
My daily prayer for Terri's parents is that the Lord of all mercy will give them, each one, the strength to fight this battle just one more day.
