GREAT FICTION - Dumas trilogy is completed!

The Musketeers ride again! For 135 years it lay buried in the basement archives ... what? The third in Alexandre Dumas' musketeer trilogy.

I can't wait to get an English translation of this great writer's forgotten volume ... The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers are two of my favorite works.

I have a hard time admitting France can do something redeeming, but anything by Dumas is worth it; the only grace is that they are a century and a half old.

I fear though ... Disney will get the movie rights and cast Jon Voight, Alec Baldwin, George Clooney, and Blah-blah Streisand. Can you imagine the frontal nudity, the foul language, and the interwoven swipes at pro-lifers, republicans, and George W.?
