Jane Fonda's confession of showing poor judgment in 1972 by going to Hanoi to humiliate our servicemen held in stinking Communist prisoner-of-war camps reminds me of the Possum Lodge Man's Prayer at the end of each Red Green Show:
I'm a man ...
But I can change ...
If I have to ...
I guess!
Reports say Fonda's will be along these lines:
I'm a traitor ...
But I must confess ...
If I have to ...
I guess!
This will probably be too little, too late for many of Fonda's detractors--but at least it's better than anything John Kerry has done.
