JANE FONDA - I'm a traitor, I guess!

Jane Fonda's confession of showing poor judgment in 1972 by going to Hanoi to humiliate our servicemen held in stinking Communist prisoner-of-war camps reminds me of the Possum Lodge Man's Prayer at the end of each Red Green Show:

I'm a man ...

But I can change ...

If I have to ...

I guess!

Reports say Fonda's will be along these lines:

I'm a traitor ...

But I must confess ...

I guess!

James Taranto, in today's "Best of the Web" from the WSJ's OpinionJournal, says:

This will probably be too little, too late for many of Fonda's detractors--but at least it's better than anything John Kerry has done.
