Natan Sharansky, appointed by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to deal with a controversy over the lighting of lamps (Ceremony of the Holy Fire) in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, reported to the Israel's High Court he had only managed to get the both sides to agree to no violence during the ceremony.
