ABORTION AMONGST CAREER AGED ...

... British women is on the rise.
In 2004 the abortion rate rose by 2.1 per cent to 17.8 per 1,000 women aged 15 to 44, the highest recorded, according to the Department of Health. This resulted in 185,415 women resident in England and Wales having an abortion, compared with 181,600 in 2003. [...]

Some predicted that the rate would continue to rise as women increasingly regarded having a termination as a lifestyle choice.
So let me see if I have this right: over 360,000 would-be Brits gave their lives so their mommies and daddies could have careers, right? And they want careers so they can have kids, right? Wonder what the kids might have wanted?
"Motherhood is just one among many options open to women and it is not surprising that younger women want to prioritise other things." Said Ann Furedi, chief executive of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service, Britain’s leading abortion provider.
Uhmmm, has anyone suggested they prioritize sex? I know, I know! The USA statistics aren't any better.
