ELCA HEAD HOPES ...

...the homosexual vote doesn't split the denomination.
The ELCA General Assembly is scheduled to vote next month on whether gays in committed relationships should be ordained -- and their same-sex unions blessed -- by the church. ... Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson said tensions over the issue show that the "church is struggling with what it means to be centered in Christ."
I think Hanson should hope that the King of kings doesn't split his head.

Honestly, how can a Christian denomination struggle "with what it means to be centered in Christ"? Oh Lord, how the lofty have fallen.
