COURT INSERTS ITSELF ...

... into church property rights and church law. And I'm not so sure this is good news. The court octopus has long tentacles when it comes to the actions of another people of faith who force the court to insert itself into an ecclesiastical war.
A judge has ruled that the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles cannot confiscate the property of a congregation that has broken with the diocese and national denomination to protest consecration of a gay bishop.
Although this appears to be good news for local churches, what implications are carried forward as a result of this decision?

Now that it has reached into the real property rights of a local church ... what's next? The American court system has not shown itself to be a friend of the greater Body of Christ here.
