I WONDER IF I SEEM (9/14 update) ...

... to be as much a hypocrit to the left as they seem to be to me? Cheat Seeking Missles prompted this question when he brought up Chuckie Schumer's blatant hypocrisy in his opening statements.
To me the pivotal question, which will determine my vote is this: Are you within the mainstream - albeit the conservative mainstream - or are you an ideologue who will seek to use the court to impose your views upon us?
Laer suggests a question for the less than esteemed senior Senator from NY: considering your qualifying criteria for membership at SCOTUS, how did all the leftist judges, who are now there, get there?

I would suggest another: is there no ideology behind Roe v. Wade, the Texas Sodomy decision, the 9th Circuit's Pledge decision?

I wonder, am I, like Schumer, so wrapped up in myself that I cannot see my own selfishness and hypocrisy? God help me, I hope not!
Lord, selfishness and hypocrisy were the preeminent sins of the religious during the days of your sojourn on earth; O LORD, our God, open our minds and hearts to these evils if they reside in us. O precious Holy Spirit, blow away the sin of pride which has plagued us since Eden.

UPDATE 9/14: (HT - HolyCoast)
Fox News is reporting -
The Pledge of Allegiance was ruled unconstitutional Wednesday by a federal judge who granted legal standing to two families represented by an atheist whose previous attempt to get the pledge out of public schools was rejected by the U.S. Supreme Court.
This is my point about the left's ideological foundation to destroy our traditional and national foundations. So calused and selfish, without regard to history or majority influences.
