Not one by one with photos and 24 column inches! Let me ask you; at the casualty rate of say Viet Nam or Korea could they have reported them one by one then? No!
The only difference here is that the deaths in Afganistan and Iraq are so marginal (don't yell at me; no American military death is ever marginal) the MSM can make hay out of each one.
