ANGLICAN BISHOP: BISHOP GENE ROBINSON ...

... meets with Rowan Williams the Archbishop of Canterbury, Anglican leader of the worldwide Anglican Communion.
A spokesperson for Williams said the one-hour meeting was "friendly, but candid." The spokesperson said that the discussion was "private" and no other details would be released.

Robinson is in Britain for an Oxford Union debate on the role of gays in the church.

Prior to his arrival in Britain, Robinson was told he could not conduct services or administer communion. He also was told he is not invited to the next gathering of the rest of the world's Anglican bishops in London in 2008.
Could this be a move toward the way of the Lord? Let's hope and pray.
