The campaign has been running for a some time yet has not generated enough interest. The postal service needs bluegrass fans to inundate them with requests for the honor.
If DC Comics gets a stamp, I gotta think the contribution of Monroe to Americana is far greater ... good grief comic books are a cult thing, Monroe is a national institution.
