IRAN: WMD'S COULD SPELL DISASTER ...

... for the Bush administration. Because of the intelligence fiasco concerning WMDs in pre-war Iraq, we aren't going to find many who believe Western intel about Iran, let alone Americans.
A top State Department official says Iran is closing in on production of nuclear weapons and that it may not be deterred by U-N sanctions.

Robert Joseph, undersecretary for arms control and international security, disputes Iran's contention that its nuclear efforts are for civilian nuclear power.

Joseph contends that the Iranian government is "very aggressive, very determined to make nuclear weapons."
Sound familiar? Does the Spring of 2003 ring any bells? If Bush appears at the UN podium to preach the necessity of defending the West from an out-of-control third rate moslem country, look out!

My recommendation? Take anything our CIA and Israel's Mossad say with a grain of salt, perhaps 20-30 tons of salt!

However, if the nations of the world don't put a stop to this renegade regime they will soon enough have the bomb. The world has dealt with several nuts in the course of recent history and seems not to have learned a whit. Iran muust be stopped, because they will not stop.

If our stratiejary was to have a democratic nation on the border of Iran in order to thwart their nuclear bomb schemes we have failed; these are fanatics we're dealing with here. Once the bomb is available, I believe they will launch a preemptive strike on Israel.
