EVOLUTION: Croco-fish can't crack Chritian commitment!

I am amazed at the general and overall lack of understanding of the Christian faith by the MSM and the scientific community. Even if a transitional form of every species and subspecies is discovered and layed out before an authentic believer, it would not (or should I say should not) matter.
Scientists have made one of the most important fossil finds in history: a missing link between fish and land animals, showing how creatures first walked out of the water and on to dry land more than 375m years ago.

Croco-fish, Evolution, IDPalaeontologists have said that the find, a crocodile-like animal called the Tiktaalik roseae and described today in the journal Nature, could become an icon of evolution in action - like Archaeopteryx, the famous fossil that bridged the gap between reptiles and birds.

As such, it will be a blow to proponents of intelligent design, who claim that the many gaps in the fossil record show evidence of some higher power.
You say, "But that disproves your belief!" No, sorry, it doesn't! What it proves is that we don't know everything, especially about creation and evolution (if there is such a thing); it only proves we might be wrong, but it doesn't even come close to proving God doesn't exist!

For the sake of discussion, let's just suppose that God is "God" and the Bible is the "Word of God." Starting with those presuppositions, consider the following passage from Paul's first letter to the Church at Corinth ...
For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written, "I WILL DESTROY THE WISDOM OF THE WISE, AND THE CLEVERNESS OF THE CLEVER I WILL SET ASIDE."

Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

1 Corinthians 1:18-21
And then this from his letter to believers in Rome ...
For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope. [...]

For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?
Romans 8:20, 24
You don't have to be a theologue in order to understand that ...
... faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1
So why does the world continue in its effort to prove something that doesn't exist doesn't exist? Because of their unbelief, not ours! For ...
...the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.
Romans 1:18-19
Keeping in mind the agreed upon presuppositions, one must see that accepting evolution would be a denial of God's word; and since ...
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. [...]

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:1-3, 14
A denial of God's word would, for the authentic believer, be a denial of Christ Jesus, and so it would be a virtual denial of God!

Sorry, no can do!
