CATHOLIC PRIESTS: This story is getting old don't you think?

I'm curious, is there a correlation between these thief-priests, the pervert-priests, and the seminary training they received? For example: were the majority from the same seminary, or from a seminary that taught a particular catholic worldview, or did the faculties of their schools all came from the same school?

Priest Admits To Stealing $800,000 From Church
Prosecutors said that a Roman Catholic priest maintained a high-style of living, driving a tan Lexus, maintaining memberships in exclusive golf clubs, and owning condos in Florida and New Jersey.

Monsignor John Woolsey, 68, pastor of the Church of St. John the Martyr, made his confession to the court Friday, pleading guilty to grand larceny as part of a plea bargain. In exchange for his guilty plea to stealing more than $800,000 from his church he'll receive a minimum sentence of one year in prison and a maximum of five when he's sentenced on Sept. 22.
But here's the kicker.
Woolsey told state Supreme Court Justice Bruce Allen that he thought he was entitled to spend some of the money as he wished.
How many years should the padre get for lying? Now the prosecutors should follow the money! I'm sure they'll find a similar pattern at previous posts.

I have a recommendation to churches who don't pay their clergy as much as they themselves are paid: if you have a clergyman or woman who lives better than you do, call an auditor. Now!

Then look in the mirror and tell yourself you could have helped avoid this by compensating your shepherd with a decent wage!
