AMERICA: Order in English or don't eat!

UPDATE: Michelle Malkin - The Attack on Geno's ...
... he's under attack from an open-borders, anti-assimilationist Philadelphia City Council member ... 'Jim Kenney asked Geno's owner Joseph Vento to take the small sign down.'
It's people like Kenny who are ruining this country; I'm impressed that they've never had an original thought in their lives.

Support Geno: buy cheesesteak, order in English!

Where I live you can order a "bistec con queso," but not at Geno's Steaks in Philly. There it's a "Philly Cheesesteak" or hit the road.
An English-only ordering policy has thrust one of Philadelphia's best-known cheesesteak joints into the national immigration debate.

Situated in a South Philadelphia immigrant neighborhood, Geno's -- which together with its chief rival, Pat's King of Steaks, forms the epicenter of an area described as "ground zero for cheesesteaks" -- has posted small signs telling customers, "This Is AMERICA: WHEN ORDERING `SPEAK ENGLISH."'
"Your World" with Neil Cavuto is doing a non-scientific poll; as of CRIB press time the results were reading like this ...
Do businesses have the right to demand their customers speak English?
a. Yes -------------------------- (83%) 36,436 votes
b. No ------ (16%) 7,018 votes
c. Not sure - (1%) 663 votes
44,117 total votes
Not scientific but good enough for me!

CRIB NOTE: Yes, I am learning Spanish and am able to get along quite well without any English. Although some I my spanish the locals call "Spanglish."
