BIGOTRY: The argument goes something like this -

presuppose the bible is a work of man, fallible and errant; also assume God is uninvolved or severely limited in His involvement with its creation, that all religious writings are equally "scripture," then use them all to prove anti-Semitism.
Israel has allowed Daystar, a Texas-based Christian evangelical TV channel, to telecast into Israeli homes and attempt to proselytize Israel's five million Jews. Is this religious freedom or adding insult to the Jewish injury?

For two thousand years, the Jews were systematically persecuted everywhere, except in India [1]. The Christian Bible instituted religiously motivated anti-Semitism, and continues to remain the most comprehensive anti-Semitic scripture. Norman Beck, a distinguished academic and Lutheran theologian, has catalogued over 450 anti-Semitic verses found in Christian lectionaries and calls for eliminating the anti-Semitic polemic [2]. [CRIB emphasis]
Stating things one believes as true does not make them true; especially when those beliefs are based on faulty presuppositions.

But to then use one's "beliefs" to generally attack another religious body is unconscionable and irrational.

The author commits another equally egregious error in quoting the bible ...
The Church, since the promulgation of the acts of the Council of Elvira (~300 CE), has portrayed the Jews as "the enemies of the Heavenly Majesty. [3]" Christian teachings falsely demonize the Jews as "Christ-killers," "Children of the Devil," "Brood of vipers," etc., and pronounce all future generations of the Jews guilty of 'killing' Christ ... . The Christian Bible declares, "The Devil is the father of the Jews."
The last quote is actually - "You are of your father the devil." [John 8:44a] An understandable misquote and a common misinterpretation.

He evidently never considered his bible quotations were God's judgment on the nation of Israel and not necessarily on every man, woman, and child in Israel. God never punishes the innocent; the innocent suffer for their silence in God's judgments but never for sins they never committed [Ezekiel 18:1-9].

I won't deny Christians and Christian organizations down through the ages have erred in many ways and in many places, but the author's broad brush indictment of the entire Christian faith is no less persecution of Christians than he claims Christians persecute the Jews.

To do what the author has done to Christians here, would be like me blaming all Hindus for the religious rapes of Hindu to Christian converts in India recently. See here and here.

The opposite of his claims is in fact the truth; Israel has no better friend in history, nation or otherwise, than the true Church of Christ ... for Christ Himself said "for salvation is from the Jews" [John 4:22].

All in all, this article is an offensive, intolerant, and bigoted diatribe against Christ and His New Covenant offspring.

There is no indication of where the author's hatred of everything Christian comes from, but it is patently evident in his words. I am guessing it is a perverted form of Indian nationalism.
