... "world peace" is a figment of the global community's imagination!People in European and Muslim countries see US policy in Iraq as a bigger threat to world peace than Iran's nuclear programme, a survey has shown. [BBC]Three questions come to mind:1. How do these idiots define world peace?Americans, don't buy into this crap! Faulty polling like this is the work of the left and the devil. Don't be surprised when your enemies don't like you; it only means we must be doing something right. I'm surprised at Pew for this one!The definition of a Brit versus a Malaysian versus a Darfurian would be worlds apart. I hate relativism but this is really a relative discussion.
An American's concept would be one based upon its demonstrable character, base predominantly upon a Judeo-Christian ethic, long a great trait of this nation. On the other hand, a citizen of say Pakistan or Cambodia, having never experienced peace or liberty/freedom could not agree on a definition with a Brit.2. Since it is generally agreed America, England, Australia, New Zealand, and their citizens afford the world its only stabalizing force, who would these Europeans and Muslims choose to fill the void if America was no more? Who would rush to their aid? Russia? China? France? Indonesia?
And the source of and they purity of a person's knowledge of the world - necessary to framing an intelligent response - would certainly color one's definition of world peace. That's what I thought! If it weren't for the appeasniks of Europe and the fascists of Mohammadland we wouldn't really be in this fix.The reason they feel this way is because they now see their combined irresponsibility may cause a global war; that war will be fought in their front yards, in their playgrounds. Gee, thanks friends!3. Aren't the the European nations the ones who used to have the mega Judeo-Christian ethic, while we were playing cowboys and indians? The sad fact that Europe abandoned its spiritual roots a century ago makes them forget their Lord's teachings; He said we'll never have world peace [Matthew 10:34] ... at least not until His Second Coming. [Revelation 20:6]
