CHILD ABUSE: Stealing candy from a baby is!

As adoptive parents who spent six years adopting our daughter and dealing with LA County's CPFS I feel I can speak to this ...

Photographer Jill Greenberg has whipped up a storm of controversy with her new exhibition, End Times. The pictures in the show, for which she deliberately provoked tearful outbursts from children by taking away lollipops she had just given them, have been described by some as tantamount to child abuse.

Greenberg herself insists that the children had the sweets returned within 30 seconds, that no lasting harm has been done, and that her concern was to depict what she says reminded her of the "helplessness and anger I feel about our current political and social situation."
So, helpless children are legitimate avenues for expressing your "helplessness and anger"? Good grief!

In LA County, if a photo shop clerk saw these photos, he’d be required by law to report the photos to the police, the police would then be required to immedtiately call for a sheriff’s deputy to remove each of these kids from their parent’s home for child endangerment.

Federally, the photographer can be and should be prosecuted for child pornography under the “equal protection clause” because there are many parents in the US who’ve already been arrested for less than what those photos show, and some are serving time.

Ms. Greenberg should know paedophiles will be jumping with glee over her work. I can't imagine what these photos will mean to their sick minds but it cannot be good. And God only knows what video pornographers will do!

Pray for the return of this lady's common sense ... BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T I'm going to go abuse some photographers to express my "helplessness and anger" at her!
