In this Kodak moment, we see an illustration of the Lord lifting us up as the floods come ... oh, my beloved, be encourage! I say, be encouraged! For our Lord is greater than this toad by an infinite magnitude, and we are less desirable than rodent!
The floods have lifted up, O LORD, The floods have lifted up their voice, The floods lift up their pounding waves. More than the sounds of many waters, Than the mighty breakers of the sea, The LORD on high is mighty. But, however, if you be the enemy of the Living God, your end is worse than you have ever imagined ...Psalms 93:3-4Then the flood came upon the earth for forty days, and the water increased and lifted up the ark, so that it rose above the earth.Genesis 7:17Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.Psalms 32:6May the flood of water not overflow me Nor the deep swallow me up, Nor the pit shut its mouth on me.Psalms 69:15Oh, doomed generation of the lost, listen to His voice before the burning waters of His wrath come and destroy you and the ground upon which you stand. Tempus fugit! Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.Daniel 9:26
But with an overflowing flood He will make a complete end of its site, And will pursue His enemies into darkness.Nahum 1:8
