The FBI alerted state and local authorities Monday to be on the lookout for 11 Egyptian exchange students who arrived in the U.S. last month but never showed up for class.Okay, sure! "there's no indication that the men were involved in any illicit activity." Right!
The men, who range in age from 18 to 22, were scheduled to attend a month-long program in U.S. history and culture, plus English language instruction, at Montana State University along with six other students. The group flew from Cairo and arrived in the U.S. on July 29. All entered the U.S. legally, but officials said the no-shows violated the terms of their visas and that the government would likely send them home once they turn up.
FBI Special Agent Richard Kolko emphasized that there was no indication that the men were involved in any illicit activity.
DUH! THEY VIOLATED THE TERMS OF THEIR VISAS ON THE FIRST DAY! NOT ONE OF THEM, BUT ALL OF ELEVEN OF THEM!
Lordy I really feel protected now! And this after this a few days ago ...Al Qaeda's No. 2 leader announced in a new videotape ... that an Egyptian militant group has joined the terrorist network.Wonderful! My family and I can sleep comfortable tonight ... sure we can, we live in Mexico. But our kids and grandkids are being protected by an apparent bunch of idiots.
It is the first time that Al Qaeda has announced a branch in Egypt, the Arab world's most populous nation. The Egyptian group, Gamaa al Islamiya, is apparently a revived version of a militant group of the same name that waged a campaign of violence in Egypt during the 1990s but was crushed in a government crackdown.
"Be on the look out" my grandmother's size 32 girdle ... if you find them, tackle them, chain them, and drag them to the nearest Pyramid Airlines terminal and send them packing on the first flight out.
They can go as they are! We'll drop their books and pencils at the nearest Israeli embassy!
