A major travesty of justice was averted. Philadelphia County Common Pleas Judge Pamela Dembe dismissed all charges against four Christians who had been arrested for walking a public street and quoting the Bible during a public homosexual event called Outfest, this past October. Judge Dembe said she found absolutely no evidence for any of them. She said the First Amendment protects unpopular speech as much as popular speech and was the controlling issue in the case.
