TALE OF TWO WARDS - Churchhill and Connerly

We've all heard enough of one Ward to last a lifetime. But, this Tuesday Ward Connerly, a man not well-known outside of conservative circles, will end his "12-year sentence" on the Board of Regents of the University of California.

And as an example of the heights to which politically correct inanity have risen, one Ward is being celebrated as a hero by academics, while the other Ward is being castigated as a wastrel of by the same academics. One Ward is a louse let loose on Lady Liberty, while the other Ward is a great American who labored behind the scenes to accomplish for his people some of their biggest strides in the past century.

Huzzahs to the one, we'll miss you; rasberries to the other, you can't depart soon enough.
