CALIFORNIANS SNUBBED - State's legislators say "&%@!*&#" to the people!

Once again, representatives from the California's "blue" counties run roughshod over the majority. From Agape Press ...
No lawmaker is above the law or the people. Yet state legislators who are pushing AB 19 show no respect for the constitution, laws or people of California. AB 19, which would issue same-sex "marriage" licenses in every county in California, passed the Assembly Judiciary Committee on April 26. Coauthored by 30 Democrats, AB 19 would repeal the people's vote on marriage.

Displaying these legislators' sense of superiority over the voters, AB 19 is as good or bad an example of arrogance you can find. The Democrats who have coauthored this same-sex "marriage" bill apparently think they're above the law and above the voters.

Five years ago, 61.4 percent of Californians approved Proposition 22, the Protection of Marriage Initiative. The 14 words of the initiative were carefully crafted, reading: "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."
For five decades I've watched decent people in this state try to control their representatives in Sacramento without success. The truth is, when you are from "the land of the fruits, the flakes, and the nuts" you often must select between a fruit, a flake, or a nut to send to Sacramento to do business. Mike at Peanut Sizzler and Kirk at Don't Talk About This agree.

Two things have become apparent to me: first, most Californian's aren't smart enough to tell the difference between them and, second, most Californian's really, down deep in their gut, don't give a flip about what happens to anyone but themselves! Most Californians are so wrapped up in themselves and their lifestyles they could care less what happens to their neighbors, let alone their state. Not good character traits to take into the future.
