IRAQ CAUSUALTY - Troop prayer request!

If you've already dropped by, please take a moment and pray with me for our men and women in uniform.

My secretary asked me to consider a prayer request for a friend's son ... his name is Chad, Chad Fields. He is from Texas. His mother passed the request on.

Chad was shot in the head in Falujah this past Sunday by insurgents. Though his initial condition was extremely critical, the military medical personnel in Baghdad were able to stabilize him. He is probably already in Germany ... his folks are being flown there to be at his bedside.

Now I know that many families have lost loved ones, many others have suffered having a child horrible maimed in Iraq or Afghanistan, and there will be others ... so let's pray for them all ...

Oh LORD, our God and our strength. You O'Lord are Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, You are Jehovah Shaloam, the God of peace ... You and You alone are worthy of honor and glory ... Baruch Hashem Adonai - blessed be the name of the Lord.

Sons and daughters, O' God are far from their families and friends, they continue in harms way; they have gone where we have not and are doing what we should be doing ... much as our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ did.

We come not in the pride of having something worthy to offer, we come because we love mercy, we come because we desire justice, and so we come humbly seeking that which only you can do ... fix that which is broken, raise up that which has fallen, heal that which is ill, strengthen that which is weak, comfort that which is discomforted, encourage that which has lost courage, and bring peace and joy in the morning for those walking through the valley of the shadow of death ... let them fear not the evil that has entered their lives and remind them that You, O' Lord, are sovereign in the smallest of life's details and nothing escapes Your notice.

Glory, power, and majesty to You in Jesus name ... Amen, and Amen!

Thank you! Bless you!
