HOMOSEXUAL AGENDA - Leaven oozing down from north of the border!

In a previous post I warned opponents of homosexual unions to beware the crowd above our northern borders ... well there's good news and there's bad news.

There are fears among proponents of homosexual legislation that conservatives might win in a general election and that would be the good news (see support for a conservative win here) ...

The bill would die if an election is called and if the Conservative were to win, it's certain they would not introduce same-sex marriage legislation. The Conservatives want a bill that would reaffirm the traditional definition of marriage as an exclusive union between one man and one woman.

But, as in the good old U. S. of A., the Canadian homosexual power brokers are not giving up, that is the bad news ...

"Nearly 90 per cent of Canadians live in jurisdictions where same-sex marriage is the law of the land (through court rulings)," said Alex Munter of Canadians for Equal Marriage. "So if the plug is pulled on Parliament then equal marriage remains the law of the land in 90 per cent of Canada."

Let's hope and pray the conservatives win and they pull the plug ; what goes around the frozen north has a tendency to run downhill during the Spring thaw. For an excellent and brief overview of the history of this fight see here.
