Kingdom news of particular interest from various sources ...
- The subhead said, "Vatican suspends priest's beatification" ... at first I thought it said "suspects"! Ha!
- The subhead said, "Soutern Baptists take on school-gay issue" ... at first I didn't see "issue" and thought "darn, now they're going to call us bullies." Ha, ha!
- The subhead said, "A New Challenge to Same-Sex Marriages in Mass" ... and I thought "what could be less challenging for gays than being in Massachusetts?"
- But things like this are deadly serious ... "Anti-missionary threats in Turkey turn violent" ... Satan's forces are working overtime in Turkey, Pakistan, India, Sudan, Indonesia, China, Viet Nam, and Egypt.
- As a Southern Baptist I love the thought of this "The SBC is a political power" but don't like the last part of the subhead "some fear evangelism neglected"
- I've gained more respect for my Catholic neighbors since the passing of JP2 and the installation of B16 but I worry if this "U.S. Catholic bishops expected to keep their hard line on priest sex abuse" means more of the same hide-and-seek games
- At last some good news, "New Jersey appellate court agrees that gays can't wed without legislative action"
- And bring back McGuffy's Readers too - "Press poll shows support for Bible studies in schools"
- And some more good news, "Chrtistian right makes some inroads on bending the political spectrum"
