ROBERT'S NOMINATION IS ...

... beginning to trouble me! When we leave meat out too long, it begins to stink. This nomination is beginning to stink!
Supreme Court nominee John Roberts worked behind the scenes for a coalition of gay-rights activists in a Colorado case [Romer], and his legal expertise helped them persuade the Supreme Court to issue a landmark 1996 ruling protecting people against discrimination because of their sexual orientation. [Denver Post]

In the Romer dissent, Scalia, joined by Rehnquist and Thomas, said, "Coloradans are entitled to be hostile toward homosexual conduct." Scalia added that the majority opinion had "no foundation in American constitutional law, and barely pretends to." [WorldNetDaily]
With this size gap between Roberts and the three justices we want him to be like, his choice does not sound good at all ... NOT GOOD AT ALL! Me thinks there be a wee bit of some Blarney here! Another Souter or Ginsburg perhaps?
