WE BAPTISTS DON'T ...

... mess around when it comes to our bad guys. We get to claim Mexico's "Public Enemy No. 1."
Mexico's 'Public Enemy No. 1' in the 1980s found religion and a new life in the Southland until his past caught up with him. Fellow church members are shocked by the revelations.

On July 11, investigators from the South Gate Police Department, the DMV and the Department of Homeland Security arrested Montoya (aka: Rios Galeana) outside his home, leaving those in his church wondering how to reconcile the hard-working and deeply religious family man they knew with the violent bank robber who was once Mexico's "Public Enemy No. 1."
Readers: look, Jesus is a God of second chances ... if this guy really cleaned up his life, let's pray God provides him a way of escape from his dilemma. Not that he should avoid responsibility, but that God "causes all things to work together for good" if Galeana "loves God [and is] called according to His purpose." [Romans 8:28]
