... says it all - "Here Comes John Roberts, There Goes Roe v. Wade"!
John G. Roberts. Jr. has only been confirmed as the 17th Chief Justice of SCOTUS for a few hours and the left is already predicting the worst.

If you believe in reproductive choice, you might be crying yourself to sleep these days, as you’ve watched the conservative Ken doll also known as John Roberts sail toward appointment as our country’s most powerful judge.Sadly, I don't see it happening, if it happens at all, for at least a decade ... it will take the right case, with the right argument, and the right team of lawyers to make it happen. Strict construction and solid argument are everything to this man. And I don't believe either of these is the one!
The first tests of how unfriendly a new court might be to reproductive rights are just around the corner. On Monday, Bush administration lawyers asked the Supreme Court to reinstate a federal law banning some abortionseven [sic] though several courts have already ruled the bans unconstitutional. And on November 30, the Supreme Court is scheduled to hear arguments in a case called Ayotte v. Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, its first abortion-related case in five years.Besides, all cases are decided by a majority of SCOTUS; even though Roberts is a good man and is soon to be the Chief Justice, he is still only one vote ... not the majority.
