GWOT: ISLAMISTS TELL JORDAN TO ...

... toe the line or it will have problems on its hands!

After appointing a new hardline PM (on the left in picture) and annoouncing his lack of support for Islmo-fascists and their worldview, Islamic leaders warn the new PM not to crack down on radical Muslims.
Jordanian Prime MinisterJordan's mainstream Islamists on Friday warned Jordan's new security-minded Prime Minister Marouf Bakheet against adopting repressive policies to curb Muslim militancy, saying it would backfire and fuel extremism.

King Abdullah asked Bakheet, 58, his national security chief and a member of the powerful intelligence establishment, to form a new cabinet with a strong mandate to wage an "all-out war" against Islamist militancy, two weeks after triple suicide bombings killed 60 people.

The Islamists expressed disquiet at the unusually tough language Abdullah used in his letter of appointment to Bakheet, saying it raised fears of a tougher crackdown on public freedoms in coming days under the pretext of a war on Muslim radicalism.
Now I think we'll see if Jordan's king has a spine or he's just bluster. I'm voting for the former. If the latter comes true, it does not bode well for Jordan as an ally of the West in the GWOT.

I just posted on the problem Muslims, by their nature, have accepting authority or rule by non-Muslims and secular Muslims.
