ARCHAEOLOGY: Fantastic discovers and recoveries going on at Herculaneum.

To see 2,000 year old documents coming to life gives me hope that one day a first century document will be found and decoded revealing more of the truths of Scripture. Think about it.
Scientists have started to decode some mysterious scrolls found centuries ago in the ancient Roman village of Herculaneum. The eruption of Mount Vesuvius in A.D. 79 entombed the town in lava and ash, but the blackened papyruses survived - barely.

Join the scientists as they use new technology to reveal the scrolls' hidden words and become the first people in nearly 2,000 years to read the documents.
These first century, or earlier, documents were found a couple of centuries ago, but only now can can many of them be decoded. Technological advances and conservation have allowed this. What is still out there? Think about the possibilities.

The video of researchers and their results is worth the trip to the National Geographic site ... Watch the video here >>>.
