GAY AGENDA: It's all rubbish to the kid's on the jungle gym!

When I first heard the word gay had been coopted by the homosexual community I was somewhat indifferent until I realized their success in doing so ruined a perfectly good and common word.

Well, as the saying goes, "What goes around, comes around."
The word "gay" now means "rubbish" in modern playground-speak and need not be offensive to homosexuals, the BBC Board of Governors has ruled.

A listener complained after [British radio personality] Chris Moyles dismissed a ringtone by saying on his Radio 1 breakfast show: "I don't want that one, it's gay."

The complainant argued that the use of the word gay in this context was homophobic. The governors said, however, that Moyles was simply keeping up with developments in English usage.
For years I have said the two most perceptive groups in the world were puppies and children. At this juncture, I believe it would be fair for me to surmise that kids might see the "gay agenda" as the "rubbish agenda." Ha!
