Andy Jackson at Smart Christian offers this anecdotal evidence to confirm what we all knew ...I talked with two different people yesterday who have been on-the-ground involved in New Orleans since the hurricane. They told me that they are very concerned with what will happen when hurricanes hit again this year.Let's not forget to send up our prayers for the victims and the recovery workers. Keep in mind they might have a rough year this season.
They said that the government is corrupt, the Red Cross has done very little with the millions of dollars it received from giving Americans, FEMA just gets in the way, and so they painted a pretty sad picture.
They went on to say that it is churches, ministry groups, and simple Americans with common sense that continue to make the biggest difference.
