VIRTUAL REALITY: It's "about two rival notions of how to view reality itself."

Over at "Moore to the Point," Russell D. Moore writes on the thoughts of Jim Tonkowich of the Institute for Democracy and Religion ...
On the online version of the Weekly Standard, Jim Tonkowich ... sums up the current tumult in the mainline Protestant denominations with a T-shirt slogan he saw at the recent General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (USA): "I'm Making It Up As I Go."

Tonkowich explains that the fissures in the oldline denominations are about more than politics. They're instead about two rival notions of how to view reality itself. And, he warns us, this isn't just a problem for liberal denominations.
The CRIB has been pointing this out for almost two years but it takes someone with communication skills to get the message into a rag like TWS.

Moore provides further quotes on Tonkowich, but I'd recommend you click over to WS and read the original, where Tonkowich warns us all to mind the shop faithfully while the Master tarries on His journey.
