Hugh Hewitt, broadcasting live today from the MCAS at El Torro in SoCal, interviewed several Iraqi expatriates voting in their national elections for the first time in 50 years.
I can't balance what these men were saying on the spot about what this means to them and their families with what Senator Ded Kennedy has been saying for weeks.
Someone help me here, someone is lying. Both views of the situation in Iraq and the potential for democracy in the future can't be telling the truth. The senator must be right ... right?
Why would a US Senator lie?
PS You cannot believe the ring of hope and joy heard in the expatriate's voices. Wow!
