Canadian Roman Catholic bishop Fred Henry says he'll not be bullied into silence about same-sex marriage or the dangers of the homosexual agenda.
This past January, the good bishop condemned both in a letter to his parishioners and also in a newspaper column. Agape Press reports ...
He wrote that "since homosexuality, adultery, prostitution and pornography undermine the foundations of the family," the state should "curtail them in the interests of the common good."
Statements like these prompted (quess what) two complaints against the bishop to the Alberta Human Rights Commission. But at a news conference yesterday, a defiant Henry charged,
"Those that support same-sex marriage want to shut the churches out of this important debate."
Go get 'em Fred! You've got my prayers and spiritual support.
