A periodic post of things I've read and like in the Kingdom part of the blogosphere ... the caption link will get you back to the most recent previous post on Kingdom Blogs ...
- Milton Stanley at Transforming Sermons has linked to another gem on preaching (one of Milton's especialities) here (note the Adobe PDF format). Though I've been preaching using what the author calls Truth-Trails for years (taught by some great mentors at Talbot ... see samples at The SHEEP'S CRIB - Sermons), I appreciate anyone who encourages good preaching, especially expository preaching. I might argue with his "two common fallacies" but who wants to nitpick here.
- Rick at Stones Cry Out put up an item on a new homeschooling portal and service provided by Home School Magazine called The Old Schoolhouse. Then without so much as a ripple in the water he segues into a paragraph on Patrick Henry College and an article on the same.
- My good friend Phil McAlmond at The Spirit Formed Life, in a brace of great posts, first discusses finishing-well in the race set before us and then preparing-well for the future ... both solid and well-written (no pun intended) admonitions.
- At the group blog (a fellow Alliance member) The Scriptorium you'll find an emporium of meritoriums on a plethorium of theoriums. This is an excellent general group blog by primarily twenty-something Christian bloggers at or out of BIOLA University.
- No, John Brown's Body doesn't lie mouldering in a grave, it's alive and well at Scotwise, on the Gold Coast of Australia, and John has part one of praying for revival in his adopted land and in the world up. Personally I can't wait for part two.
