BAN ALL HOMOSEXUALS FROM ...

... attending all Catholic seminaries? That is the conclusion of ...
the archbishop overseeing a Vatican evaluation of every U.S. seminary says most homosexual candidates for the priesthood struggle to remain celibate in an all-male atmosphere, so the church must "stay on the safe side" by restricting their enrollment.
Call me dumb, but isn't "the safe side" the side of Scripture?
Archbishop Edwin O'Brien made the comments as Catholics await release of a much-anticipated Vatican document on whether homosexual men should be barred from the priesthood. O'Brien says the church is not "hounding" homosexuals out of the priesthood, but wants to enroll seminarians who can maintain their vows of celibacy. The Vatican ordered the seminary review in response to the clergy sex abuse crisis. O'Brien says, "The same-sex attractions have gotten us into some legal problems."
Well, duh!
