This article by Quin Hillyer is arguably the most cogent and appealing explanation of why those who believe in American exceptionalism (and most other Americans) cannot, in good conscience, vote for Barack Obama but should, must vote for John McCain.
If you are a reader of The CRIB you know McCain would not have been my first pick for POTUS ... I would have preferred any one of Thompson, Romney, or Huckabee. He would not have been Hillyer's first pick either.
